Cheryl joined the LWV-Wake in January 2017. She felt the need to learn more about local and state government and wanted to be part of an organization that was effective in rallying citizens to become more engaged in democracy. She is currently serving as President of LWVWake.
Siobhan is personally invested in elections and voter registration. She joined the League as an outgrowth from her work as a precinct judge for the Wake County Board of Elections. She realized she wanted to be more involved with voting than just on the one or two election days each year.
We welcome everyone to join us. Whether you’re new to the League, new to Wake County or have years of experience in our local League, we invite your participation. You’ll find we are a light-hearted group who enjoy our meetings and the events we host. We need help with: new ideas, planning and execution of our committee responsibilities. There are also opportunities to help with our social media postings. For more information about visiting a membership committee meeting, e-mail one of our co-chairs, Dale Cousins (pictured) or Judee Lonnee.
We look forward to meeting you!
